    Fred Flintsones Mattress

We tried the mattress in the store and that one was a soft, fluffy dream cloud. After saving up money to purchase the mattress which is also the price of a used car, and then waiting OVER a MONTH for the mattress to arrive we were disappointed when we had a hard mattress. I "aired" the mattress out upon arrival as directed. I also walked on the mattress to loosen the fibers. I know some people might say that our bodies just need to adjust to the mattress, well it's been a month now the mattress still feels like we are sleeping on a metal table.

    Better sleep!

Both my wife and I love our new CF4000 Plush XL mattresses. We both are enjoying much better sleep with less waking during the night. We love the mattresses!!

You will not be happy with it after a few years!

The sides of the bed are so weak they sag. God forbid you actually sit on the side of the bed to get dressed because your bed will be ruined despite the fact the salesman said the sides are so sturdy & strong. It “was” a good mattress the 1st couple years, after that it’s an expensive, lumpy, dished in hunk of junk! We have turned the mattress to give it even wear, even though the salesman said there was no need for it. The same salesman sold us the “top of the line best mattress cover pad” to prevent any stains... too bad that fell apart a couple months later. Worst part is I had an extremely bad wound that required hospitalization but it still leaked over the extensive wound dressing thus voiding the warranty in this lumpy mess. I will say in the very beginning of getting this it was great... but give it a couple years & you will not be happy. I have to try to beat hubby to the bedroom so I can try to roll into the middle of the bed 1st so neither of us roll off the bed. I am so sad this is such junk! I thought I found my dream mattress but instead it’s the worst I’ve ever slept in! I have the worst back ever with tons of surgeries and needed a softer mattress so all of the hardware in my back didn’t dig into my skin... now I feel like a drill is drilling into my back. I just want to cry every night over this mess of a mattress & my hardware digging me. It’s so bad my morphine pain pump doesn’t even take away the pain. I just wonder if any long term testing was even done on the sides. Oh well. I made my bed, I guess I have to sleep on this lumpy mess. Disability payments don’t allow a person to buy new mattresses this close together.

    It's the best

After sleeping on a serta for 10yrs I thought I would try some of the other new mattress brands on the market. The ones with fun marketing commercials and in-home trials and all that no hassle stuff. What do I have to lose right? Having gone through a three of those mattresses now, I can tell you that I had four very uncomfortable months of sleep to lose. My wife and I both had terrible hip and back pain, restless nights, and difficulty even wanting to go to bed. Finally I looked up serta and went with a tried and true, a tested and proven comfortable bed. Does it cost a little more? YES. After having handled and slept on the other mattresses that also had the same length of warranty, I can tell you there's no way those things were going to last the 10 years that this will. So if I divide this price by 10 it's the cost of two nights at a hotel per year for the next 10 years. If you put it in a perspective like that... It's 3,600 nights. Is it worth it? Absolutely. I sleep hot. Like ridiculously hot. I take an SSRI everyday and it leads to an awful about of night sweats most nights. I finally stay cool in my serta. We got the max cool options and they are worth every penny. It doesn't stop me from sweating, but it doesn't add to the problem the way every other mattress did. Even the sleep cool guarantees and ultra air flow options that we tried on other brands. Supportive? Plush? Of Course. We got comparable models from the other brands, the models that boast of hip and back support. Models that were supposed to be cradling all the curves... It never happened. It seemed until this serta mattress came that we would have to get a firm, hard mattress in order to find anything with support. Which neither of us wanted. The ultra plush more than delivered cradling every thing that needed to be cradled and being wonderfully soft to the touch and through the night.

Super cool and comfort at night

We've had the i Comfort CF4000 for about 10 days and love it. Here in southern Louisiana staying cool at night to sleep is of concern and one of the reasons we waited to get a memory foam mattress. Well you got it right. My wife who always sleeps with socks decided to sleep without them the first night on the new mattress and bed. She woke up complaining her feet were cold. She now sleeps through the night as do I. We both had problems with snoring but the Motion Essentials IV Split King Adjustable Base allowed us to adjust our head height independently and slept silently for the first time in years. This bed is what we needed as I sleep on my side and on my back and always feel support on this mattress. One problem is where can I get the headboard mounts that I need?
